Accuracy policy
Corrections
HackHub changes quickly. We review version-sensitive claims, source links, and command references so material errors can be corrected transparently.
What we review
Version drift
A feature, mode, or platform status changed after our review date.
Command change
A command name, mode, purpose, or Handbook behavior differs from the page.
Broken source
An official link moved, expired, or no longer supports the statement.
Rights concern
Content or media appears to have an ownership, permission, or attribution problem.
How we identify issues
We recheck version-sensitive statements against current Steam store information, official update notes, and the in-game Handbook where a claim depends on game behavior. Review dates and source labels show what evidence supported a page when it was published.
We do not publish an email address, form, or submission promise unless a working public channel is available. A reader-facing correction channel may be added later; this policy currently describes the site’s own editorial review process.
How we handle a correction
- Triage. Determine whether the claim is factual, version-specific, an opinion, or outside scope.
- Verify. Prefer current official material; compare first-hand reports without treating one report as universal.
- Update. Correct the affected page, its modified date, and linked summaries.
- Record. Material changes appear in the public log below. Typos that do not change meaning may be fixed silently.
Public correction log
Replaced outdated Early Access language. Official Steam announcements now verify that HackHub 1.0, full multiplayer, and modding released on August 1, 2026.
