Version 1.0 reference · Updated August 4, 2026
Search the commands named in official HackHub sources, understand what they are for in the game, and verify exact syntax in the current in-game Handbook.
Confirmed means an official Steam source names the command. It does not mean every argument has been independently tested. When the official source does not publish syntax, this guide says “check Handbook” instead of guessing.

Confirm the current build in Steam and read the latest patch notes. The 1.0 release rewrote or expanded several long-standing commands.
Use the Handbook as the primary syntax reference. Community examples can become stale when command arguments or interfaces change.
Commands labeled “MP only” are hidden or unavailable in single-player. The official launch notes explicitly separate multiplayer-only tools and apps.

The launch notes list probe, dnshistory, deface, dig, nslookup, and mxlookup for single-player too. They also name ten multiplayer-only commands: openvpn, authkey, decode, appraise, crack, clearlogs, pivot, market, launder, and watch.
The official launch notes confirm command names and feature context but do not publish every argument. Guessing would create a polished but unreliable reference, so exact syntax is deferred to the version-matched in-game Handbook.
